All3 is transforming how buildings are conceived, developed, and delivered. We combine AI-powered design with robotic prefabrication to build custom architecture at the cost and speed of mass production — unlocking even the most complex sites.

We’re currently seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to join our team, focused on drastically reducing the time needed for domain experts to create production-ready building models. Leveraging parametric computations and genetic algorithms, our aim is to develop cost-effective and environmentally friendly architectures, revolutionizing the construction landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services;
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to gather technical and cost-related data;
  • Identifying and evaluating potential cost risks and recommending value engineering options where applicable;
  • Monitoring actual project costs against estimates and reporting discrepancies to management;
  • Maintaining and updating a cost database for materials, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing;
  • Participating in site visits to assess project scope and constraints when necessary;
  • Ensuring all estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field;
  • Several years of experience in construction cost estimating or a related role;
  • Experience with mass timber construction projects would be a plus;
  • Experience with preparing and submitting competitive tenders and proposals for new projects;
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, or similar tools);
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings;
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines;
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations;
